Prizes I found were:

- a kerosene lantern from the 90' s (ruined)

- a bag of Doritos so old that it has Times New Roman font

- lots of 16oz beer cans, Mike’s Hard, and energy drinks

- two hanging baskets

- plastic T-ball bat

Isn’t manual labor what children are for?

Neat. Now to let it grow for a few years so you have something to do next time the plague comes.

The “prizes” you found is a lot of the same stuff my dad and I found after we demoed a hot tub in our backyard except instead of beer cans we found soda cans. It looks like my six-year-old self used it as a trash can(it had stopped working before we moved in).

They are not cost effective for labor purposes.

Y ou ever hear anything from unemployment? I was talking with my wife (HR generalist) and she was saying that the state mails an initial notification to your employer for feedback.  But apparently what has been happening recently is that many business are simply completely closed so nobody at the individual employers is getting back to the state to confirm delaying the process for several weeks or more in some cases.  She has had to furlough a number of folks, but they immediately get back to the state so no delay of benefits.  Anybody still in your employer’s office to respond?

Yes HR told me that the state has confirmed my unemployed status with this, so call the state, not our problem

But can you lift a beer, at least ? Well earned.

Sorry to hear about the unemployment & benefit situation, hope there’s some resolution there quick. It’s dragging hard for folks in CA too , delays and empty promises are  killing people . Sorry to hear you're in it too, cheers man.
